Oh Em Gee, I just wanted more and more of Oran Mor tonight-whit a wee riot of a gig! From the lassie with the infrared wrist that kept flashing to tell her how fast she was walking even though she was sittin' still to the two lovely lesbians in the front row who actually lived in a place called Dyke Road! (What came first, the chicken or the egg? )

There were posh folk fae Anniesland and a trio of latecomers including Cameron and a woman who I thought was his sister but turned out be his mum! There was a girl called Heather who taught people how to tap (dancing that is, no' borrowin' money!) and there were two spare seats in the front row which we quickly filled with the couple who were the furthest away who turned out to be little comedy gems! Her name was Lara ( I soooo wanted her to own a croft!) She said she came from 'South of Glasgow' which we all thought meant Dumfries but turns out she meant Shawlands! "You mean the Southside" I said? Another girl came from the Gold Coast in Australia and I said 'Lara look, she lives South of Glasgow too!"
Lara's fun hubbie Tim who looked quite blokey surprised us all by campin' it up big style for the final dance off-Tim was anything but timid! What a joyful night! Cannae wait to do it all over again tonight X
